Catalog Rebrand

Laney College is the largest of the four Peralta Community College District campuses, serving approximately 16,000 students annually. As the flagship college for the Peralta District, Laney College stretches across sixty acres in downtown Oakland, California, one of the most ethnically and economically diverse cities in America.
The latest project completed was an overhaul of the +500 page college course catalog. As the Lead Graphic Designer for this project, I worked with the staff to develop and implement new branding guidelines and designs to help better engage the student audience. Organizing assets, creating templated design files, and managing project timelines ensured a smooth process within the tight deadline given.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Paul at a time when our organization was rebranding and trying to create more current and modern designs that represented a diverse population of students. Paul had creative ideas that brought a fun element and he was also able to execute more traditional design styles to fit different medium. He was always open to feedback and very dependable.
